DIY BOOKING + TOURING GUIDE
Workshop with artist manager and booker Florentina Fien
No matter if you’re an artist or working in other areas of the music industry - live music is such a big part of all our lives and there’s always something to learn. From finding the right venues & contacting them to actually organising the shows and everything that comes with that - we’ll take a deep dive into booking (and touring) on an independent level. The pandemic has changed many aspects of our lives - but live music will always be relevant - in all its forms. And now is the time to start preparing for 2022!
Flo is a lawyer, music manager, booker - and co-founder of MusiCoWomen!
She has self-taught herself all she knows about booking and she has learned A LOT along the way; She says in some ways teaching herself has even made her bolder - that’s how she’s gotten some of the coolest gigs for her artists.
Since getting to know the live music business from the "backstage" she has booked over 500 shows for her main artist Adam Wendler, including support gigs for Ryan Sheridan, The Arkells, Matt Mays and Post Animal as well as festivals such as Open Flair, Kingsville Folk and Live at Heart - all independently!

Q & A LIVE STREAMING
Artist panel with Annie Barker and Luna Keller
We invited two artists who have been very active with live streaming during the pandemic and will talk about their experience and what they learned along the way trying different platforms and gear. They will also talk about different options of streaming events and how to prepare for them.
Annie Barker is a dreampop singer/songwriter and producer who has worked with some of the founders of her genre- Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) and Mitsuo Tate (also CT’s). Her latest release is a blending of her dreampop vocals and guitar with neoclassical elements and instrumentation from Pieter Nooten (Clan of Xymox). Originally from Los Angeles, she currently lives in Berlin where she is a street musician and also regular livestreamer.
Luna Keller is a singer-songwriter with a unique perspective fueled by her curiosity and a deep connection to her emotions through songwriting. Since 2017 she released several singles and two EP’s, wrote songs for special occasions and conquered the European stages with her unique form of storytelling.
Luna also has been killing it on Twitch and Instagram, going live every single week (she once streamed for 9 hours straight)! She is amazing at sharing her music with her community and we can't wait to welcome this musical powerhouse to our Q&A to hear more about her streaming journey!
